Ian's first taste of applesauce

Before H1N1 hit the Bagley household, we started Ian on his first solid food. On October 23rd, he wolfed down his rice cereal, so we decided to give him a taste of Grandma Rose's applesauce. The video says it all. Any suggestions for his next solid food?

Thankfully, Ian is feeling MUCH better now, and Justin and I are slowly getting better. Silly swine flu.

Ian's latest weigh in = 20 pounds, 9 ounces!

  1. Bummer that you all got sick, but hooray that you are all on the mend! Feeding solids is one of my favorite experiences - gotta love sharing the joy of real dining! Gabe LOVED mashed avocado once you get to chunky purees, and both kids were big fans of sweet potatoes (I started with jarred, but if you are eating them would be just as easy to mash yourself and add some water/breastmilk for runniness). Have fun in the eating adventures!
